In 1974, the founder Lee Miller had an idea of having fellow CORSA members down to take a parade lap around the Alabama International Speedway in Talladega Alabama just before the running of the Winston 500 NASCAR Race. Dave suggested to Lee that he organize a CORSA convention to get the CORSA community to Birmingham and the Alabama International Speedway.
On April 10 1975, Vulcan Corvair Enthusiasts COSA Chapter 352 was incorporated and hosted its first CORSA Mini Convention May 2-4 1975.
Vulcan Corvair Enthusiasts exists for the sole purpose of encouraging the preservation, ownership, operation, and enjoyment of all Corvair cars, trucks, and related vehicles including Fitch Sprint, Yenko Stinger, and Cavalier automobiles.
